Meet Marla, Founder of Pout Aesthetics Marla Liberatore, RN, is the founder of Pout Aesthetics, but her story in medicine began long before Pout ever had a name. Marla started her nursing career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she developed the compassion, attention to detail, and patient-first approach that would become the foundation of her career. From there, she transitioned into reproductive medicine and infertility, helping patients through some of the most emotional and deeply personal moments of their lives. But Marla always had another dream: plastic surgery and aesthetics. She eventually took the leap into plastics, where she had the opportunity to train and work alongside one of New Jersey’s most highly sought-after plastic surgeons. It was there that she fell in love with the artistry of aesthetics—the ability to combine medicine, anatomy, creativity, and an eye for detail to help someone feel like the best version of themselves. Then came Pout. Pout Aesthetics didn’t begin with a huge team, investors, or a perfect business plan. It began with Marla, a wish, a dream, and the belief that she could create something different. She started Pout on her own and built it patient by patient, never losing sight of what she wanted it to feel like: welcoming, personal, fun, and elevated—while still delivering results rooted in education, safety, and anatomy. Today, Pout has grown into far more than she imagined in those early days, but Marla remains deeply involved in the practice and continues to treat her patients with the same personal approach that helped build it. Outside of Pout, Marla’s greatest accomplishment is her family. She is the proud mom of four children—three boys and one daughter—and, of course, Tank, her English Bulldog, who absolutely believes he deserves equal billing. For Marla, Pout is more than an aesthetics practice. It’s proof that sometimes the things you build from nothing but a wish, a little courage, and a really big dream can become more than you ever imagined.
